At MyPool, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you use our MyPool application and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

The Data We Collect About You

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

• Account Data includes the email address and account identifier used for MyPool Plus.
• Pool and Cloud Data includes saved pool names and identifiers, saved connection credentials, equipment settings, temperatures, schedules, weather rules, weather locations, notification preferences, and cloud schedule history when you use MyPool Plus.
• Subscription Data includes subscription status and transaction identifiers supplied by Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat. Apple and Google process payments; MyPool does not receive your full payment-card information.
• Technical and Diagnostics Data includes app interactions, crash reports, device and operating-system details, and similar diagnostics used to operate, secure, and improve MyPool.

How We Use Your Personal Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

• To provide and manage MyPool Plus accounts, saved pools, cloud schedules, weather automations, notifications, and cross-device state.
• To confirm subscription entitlement and provide customer support.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the MyPool application and cloud services.
• To comply with legal, accounting, and security obligations.

Service Providers

We use service providers to operate MyPool, including Supabase for MyPool Plus account and cloud data, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, Apple and Google for in-app purchases, Firebase and Sentry for analytics and crash diagnostics, and WeatherAPI for weather-based scheduling. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to MyPool.

Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know.

Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Your Legal Rights

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to:

• Request access to your personal data.
• Request correction of your personal data.
• Request erasure of your personal data.

Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your MyPool Plus account and associated cloud data at getmypoolapp.com/account-deletion. Deleting a MyPool Plus account does not cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google Play; manage or cancel that subscription through the store where you purchased it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this privacy policy.
